Superdeck® Exotic hardwood stain is a super penetrating, high-quality, oil-based transparent stain. It is specially formulated for mahogany, teak, pie, meranti and iron wood used for exterior decking and patio furniture. This unique blend of oils and iron oxide pigments penetrates and protects hardwoods. Hardwood stain will provide protection from UV, water damage and surface stains caused by mildew. Many species of hardwoods are extremely dark in color and dense in structure. These unique qualities may overpower the stains ability to significantly change the color of naturally dark wood. Minimal variation to the woods natural color should be expected.
