The 5 lb capacity Yankee Flipper bird feeder is a motor driven, battery-powered, weight-activated squirrel-proof feeder. It allows the birds to eat and saves seed by keeping squirrels away. The Yankee Flipper has a motorized perch ring that is specially calibrated to go-off under the weight of a squirrel. The clear 17 in UV-stabilized polycarbonate seed tube is too long and large in circumference for squirrels to navigate.
